Yeah it's ok.
A lot of the humour is kind of based in the crudity of it which isn't very funny unless you are a teenager.
Josephy Gordon Levitt is great as always. Kid is good (is he the dude from Where The Wild Things are). Rainn Wilson playing against type doesn't work as well as Jim Carey/Adam Sandler playing against type (Eternal Sunshine/Punch Drunk Love).
Natalie Portman wears annoying Indie glasses and is overly twitchy in that "comes to the door scene".
So yeah it's ok, it has it's moments, but I'm sick of "INDIE" films being based around bereavements. The only thing missing in this one was the main characters weren't intellectuals or authors.
You should check out Brick, that's a cool movie, although yes it is based around a death aswell.
