ok i have to do a project on a buisness related topic for communications for 3 weeks time and i'v echosen "internet downloading and it's positive effect on the music industry

what i want is links to news topics on websiutes based on this plus also sales figures and prices for cds where you come from in shops

This might give you some background to why there needs to be a radical shakeup of the sales model here in Ireland. also, why quantifiable downloading per IMEI/SIM combination number may well become a sales 'measureable' that contributes to the charts. It's not my doc, by the way.

I suggest you also read the online articles referred to at the bottom and bang in a reference that the Irish Govt - through the 'Music Board' - has consulted with various agencies here and abroad in order to determine how to regulate the downloading of music while not trying to regulate the internet.
