while cooking dinner yesterday evening, i put in to much ginger, garlic and spice paste. as a result I could only taste ginger from it. is there anything I could add to waterdown the ginger, maby make it a little nicer?

thanks

Ginger absolutely rocks my socks though.

Made a ginger and peanut stirfry thing last night for the second time in three days, such was the tastiness.

It's fairly potent indeed. I can't imagine would calm down its mighty fragrances. Though maybe Wormo's right about the natural yoghurt. But yoghurt might not suit the dish. Next time, emm, just use less ginger? Remember that it's not like minced onions - the flavour spread a lot further so a little should go a long way. I use a piece about 4 inches long for 4 people and that's plenty strong, plus that's with lots of veg and stuff to bulk it up.

What dish were you cooking? Is you a vegan?

Natural yoghurt should do the trick, or cream.

not vegan, veggie though. was being experimental in kitchen, cooked up stirfry, but just as it was ready, i added mushroom soup. i do like a little ginger in food, but not when its the only thing you can taste.

cheers for all advice :)
