I bought a doo-wop cd yesterday and a hook on it (from a band called Gee - song is how i love my girl - although i could have that completely wrong) was lifted by Brian Wilson for the 'Our Prayer/Heroes and Villains intro' bit of Smile. The bit that goes 'do, de de de doo doo, do do , de ded de how I love my girl'. I don't really care but it's useful to know these things. Also Denis, Denis was lifted from an old doo-wop song called 'Denise' (the strange, french sounding pronunciation of Denis Denis by Deborah Harry is basically her saying denise denise without the last 'e').

Anyway, who cares.
