Just before Christmas our household got notification from Dublin Corporation that we'd be served a summons in the next few days for not having paid our bin charges of about e250. The letters were always addressed to me/the occupants. Prob cos I'm the only person in the house on the voters reg.
Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience with the bin charges and knows how to get out of it without actually having to pay. We live in a rented house so can we bluff and say we've just moved in in the new year and the old tenants have fecked off without paying or will they look for detailed proof of this etc...
Would appreciate some advice on this if anyone knows anything about it..|..|
