all 8 movies together for the first time
not a bad price - £45 on amazing

extras for the 1978 original are Carpenter/Curtis/Hill commentary (presume its the same that's on the 25th Anniversary DVD that Anchor Bay put out last year?) - something which complements the 2001 double disc nicely

anyone be buying?

halloween was always my least favourite of the franchises - just not nasty enough.

give me F13th anyday
hellraiser trilogy boxset out this week!!

that's the one for me

cenobites firing cd's from their heads! didn't see that shit in halloween!

yeah, but compared to carpanter's classics i think it falls down majorly... not bad for a rental but i wouldnt really buy it

I love III - even though it's so far removed etc
IV and 5 are entertaining
6 is genuinely weak
H20 is pretty super while Resurrection is average
Resurrection was awful. apart from when Busta Rhymes kung fu kicks Michael Myers out a window

Hellraiser boxset is completely uncut. 2 is seriously gross
extras are excellent. well worth picking up!!
Inferno and Bloodline are out on dvd in a week or two, never seen them but deffo gonna pick them up

yeah, that bit with the cockroaches under the guy's skin, classic!

you can get a double DVD of Inferno and Bloodline. neither are that great though, some serious skimping on the oul gore

wasn't the credit for directing Bloodline given to Alan Smithee?
which is what happens when a director decides that the film he's made is so shite he doesn't want his name attached to it

i didnt realise that there's actually two more sequels!! hellraiser: hellseeker and hellraiser: deader(?)

i cant wait for the inevitable hellraiser: hellmaster or hellraiser: hellfist

Search ebay for "Halloween 6 producer's". There's a bootleg "producer's cut" of the movie that supposedly includes 43 minutes of extra footage and explains the whole thing pretty well.

i watched halloween last night for the first time in about 10 years, its still as scary as ever. i'm gonna watch nightmare on elm street tonight, i saw it when i was eleven and it scared the pants off me...am hopin it will have the same effect tonight. doubt it tho..burnt child molesters are probably less scary when yr grown up.
