POSH THREATENS SIR ALEX
Posh Spice Victoria Beckham threatened to "go and sort out" Sir Alex Ferguson after he injured her husband during a dressing room rage.
The Manchester United manager kicked a football boot which flew into her husband David's face.
England captain Beckham, 27, was "livid" and spat at the manager, hitting his coat, The Sun said.
The footballer later needed two stitches on a gash above his left eye.
Victoria, 28, was furious when she found out and wanted to "sort out" Sir Alex, a source close to the player said.
"Posh was furious and wanted to confront him about it. She is very protective but David told her not to bother," the source said.
Sir Alex lashed out at the boot in fury following his teams 2-0 FA Cup defeat by rivals Arsenal on Saturday.
There is no suggestion he intended it to hit Beckham.
Experts told the paper the footballer could have been blinded if a stud from the boot had hit him in the eye.
Sir Alex has not apologised for what he called a "freak act of nature" and insisted "it'll never happen again".
The source told The Sun of fears the incident could prompt Beckham to leave Manchester United.
