I havent been for a good few years, but i see some bands i like this time.

i was hoping to the see run-ons in that list. whats the story with them? the song on the last popical island comp is great but the internet isnt coughing up any more goods.

i remember my first time at hwch, i think it was 2004. i didnt have a job and spent a weekend hanging out in dublin with my future wife in the sun. it'll never be as good as that again. stupid fucking job.

ive only ever been a punter at this, but wouldnt most bands realise the likes of this isnt going to make them or break them. i just see it as a gig and it's been good fun going about from venue to venue having a drink on the night. the quality or diversity of music isnt always amazing, but that can be said for most music events.

I went one year, never again. People I've known for years acting like stuck up cunts cos they were trying to impress "industry" bods, and to top it all off some prick hit me in the 'nads with a keyboard stand and it bloody hurt. Also, any of the bands I want to see locally I go to their own gigs where y'know they might actually get paid and what not.
