Interestingly, or not, in German, (these modern English & German words came from the old-school German), you have Maus and Mauese, and Haus & Hausen. I-mutation, apparently.

Another common mistake is to say that 'Liverpool have a good team'. This is incorrect on two points: it should be that 'Liverpool has a good team' and, more importantly, Liverpool are shite.
