I really like old rebel songs (pre-1960s) and many traditional ballads of this island of ours. Unfortunately most of the recorded versions I hear of these tunes are ropey. The Dubliners and The Clancy Brothers are the only artists I've heard who do justice to the material. Anyone recommend any other singers or bands of this sort of stuff or great versions of old ballads and rebel songs? Thanks, .|..|
