My heart skipped a beat when I saw the accordion player come out at the gig I saw last year, 'cause I knew it meant she was going to do this.

Oggy, by a straaaaange coinicidence William Schimmel, the accordion player on Cold Cold Ground, is interviewed in the next issue of Stone Age (my fella's zine), will give you a shout when it's out.

And by an even straaaaaanger coincidence, Scent of a Woman was on telly last night - not a very good film, but Bill Schimmel's Tango Project are the band playing in the scene where Al Pacino dances with yer wan.

The first album, Mlah, by Les Négresses Vertes, is pretty decent and uses the accordian a good bit I think.

Also Beirut's first album is hokay in places. De Votcha? Don't know much about them.
