Glass Master / CD Repressing (1 Viewer)

We were told by a certain duplication company that if we want to get a cd repressed that the glass master will only work on their duplication machines and nowhere else. Is this just a sly way of them trying to get us to do the repressing with them or is there a grain of truth to what they are telling us?

Any info would be appreciated!!!!
