Everyone here seems to have brought a camera - there are more photographers than listeners.
For most of the day the sun is belting down on the stage so most of the time the camera decided to expose for the sky in the background :-(
Then at night most people had really slow lenses, and there is no barrier, so there were lots of people just shoving camera and flash into the performers face one handed - which i think is terribly rude, and annoying..
Hopefully I'll have a better success rate today!

yep, still the same high standard, btw that 2nd picture I said I liked I'd have cropped out the microphone to the left, the top left one and not the drum mic, you'd just about get away with it.
Spot metering is the main metering mode I use by far.I also realised after the weekend how much of a handicap not being able to spot meter on the Digital Rebel is for gig photos. I think if I do decide to upgrade the camera it will be this more than the crop factor or the resolution that will push me to spend the money.
