Gig photos. (1 Viewer)

Sexy pic, reminds me of Johnny or Dee Dee Ramone.
I'm not at the stage yet where I can generate that atmospheric effect type thing, is that because of the high ISO or you used something else such as PP?

I also got to use my 17-40L for the 1st time last night, tbh the 24-105L was enough so no need really for the 17-40L at gigs.
Was tempted to get the 11-16 Tokina b4 actually, seen it at Rebellion on a German guy's Cam.

Speaking of wide angles, I think I'm gonna get the Sigma 17-35 pretty soon. I can get one from ffords for €160 or so which is too tempting for me.

Not entirely sure what you mean, but that shot i went for the ramones look by going high contrast black and white. All the great 70s rock photography was high contrast BW.

Oh and eh, OK Pilot about two weeks ago:

Great nuggets of information there which I'll take on board.

Bit late but here's some Roadburn pics. No idea if I've posted these already..

Also discovered that Aidan Baker is using this photo I took of him at the festival on his official site, which is cool. It seems like he just searched for himself on Flickr and took a few of the photos :)

Also though it's not the best quality (taken on my video camera) this is one of my favorite photos. Taken at the end of Wolf Eyes in Whelans, Apr 2007.
