Getting a roll of black and white film developed (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how much it would cost to get a roll of black and white film developed? I overheard my imaging lecturer say it would cost around 8-10 times more than developing a roll of colour film, does that sound right?

I get black and white film developed and prints made for about €16. It's expensive but the results are sometimes worth it.
