Do you mean Salem, Shorty?

It was alright...we couldn't get to Salem, too many pigs & nazis, so the plan was to blockade central station in Stockholm. I think we prevented a lot of nazis from getting there but didn't find any in the city, just got battered by the pigs in trying to get to central station and then arrested and drove outside the city in buses and left there to walk back. Some of the Gothenburg heads caught up with a busfull of nazis on the way home and battered them.

The militant national-socialist/far-right/nationalist/white power movement in Europe is pretty big...in some places comparable to the size of the punk/anarcho/lefty scene, in others smaller, and in some, particularly Eastern Europe, much much bigger, terrifyingly bigger in fact. In the UK & Ireland it's very much a minority and growing up there really doesn't prepare you for the scale of this kind of shit going on here. The press estímates there were 1200 nazis at Salem, the nazis say there were 1600 of them...last year there were 2000, so it's less this year, which means we did something at least.

They're not all nazis in the swastika t-shirted, Hitler-adoring sense of the word, but it depends on how you define nazis. If you define it in the Romper Stomper, American History X sense of the word, then these kind of people are a minority. If you define it as people in favour of extreme right-wing fascistic forms of government and control, nationalism, and openly or covertly racist, (both thugish and respectable types) then yes, they're pretty much all nazis.

Foreigners out, social welfare cuts, tougher laws and more social control/less social freedom (of speech, organisation, association, etc). But that's kind of like asking what do punks want or what do anarchists want, it's all individual.

Possibly, if you're in a place such as Poland, Spain, Brasil, Italy, Croatia, etc. If you're involved in squatting, lefty demonstrations, or look like a punk/hippy/weirdo/non-white, then you'll most likely be attacked and beaten or possibly killed, which is what happened to me in Croatia, and which is why most punx stay together and don't travel alone in these countries.

You can't arrest them just for holding views, and it's very hard to prove the violence and hate-crimes they commit unless they're caught in the act...as unpopular a view as it is, I'm afraid I'm in favour of beating them up...the only way they can be stopped is if they know they cannot spread their fear, discrimination and hate on the streets without being physically confronted. In places like most of Scandanavia and Germany (Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo and here in Copenhagen) they've gradually but steadily diminished as they've been kicked off the streets and whenever they surface the AFA takes care of them pretty quickly, also when they hold their meetings. As such it's safe for us punx, weirdos and immigrants here, but it's something that takes constant vigilance and struggle against, and as unsavoury and weird-feeling, shitty-feeling, wrong-feeling, and horrible-feeling to commit violence against anyone is, and to have to attack these people with violence, after a lot of consideration, thought and reading, I've come to the conclusion that it's absolutely necessary alongside education and ideological arguement against them.

A young anarchist squatting in Barcelona has been murdered by fascists.

Roger A.G., the young squatter stabbed on the 15 of August in the Gràcia district of Barcelona by a group of nazi skinheads, has died in the Hospital de la Vall d'Hebron after almost five months in a coma. At two in the morning on Sunday 15 August, during the Gracia neighbourhood fiesta, the police found Roger lying in a pool of blood, and arrested six skinheads at the scene. In September, Court number 11 of Barcelona which was investigating the brutal attack, freed the main suspect on 3.000 euros bail, despite orginally arguing that there was a strong risk of him reoffending because of "the strong hostility between these street gangs" referring to nazi skins and squatters. The judge ordered the other five people arrested at the time of the attack (four men and a woman, all aged between 19 and 26) to be freed without charge.

Fucking horrible terrifying shit...you don't want this to develop in Ireland. The difference between Ireland and these places is that in Ireland the bigots and scum are generally just ignorant small town bullies and dickheads, but if you combine the large immigrant population that Ireland will experience over the next 50 years with the emergence of right-wing and nationalist political parties (as has happened in these countries), then this is what will develop...from my experiences Irish society in general is more violent and threatening in general, so this kind of shit could easily be all the worse there...and prevention is better than cure...the future is now (etc)!
