Future Shorts Ireland and the Bernard Shaw have teamed up to bring you 'The Shaw Reel', a monthly event incorporating film, performance, popcorn and some of the city's best dj's.
The first in a series of monthly events will be on Sat 12th in the Bernard Shaw, Portobello starting at 4pm and going on til close.
Future Shorts Ireland will be bringing you a ‘Best-of 2007’ collection of short film and music videos. Expect to see Jonas Odell's animated masterpiece about lost virginity 'Never like the First Time', Feist's sensational '1,2,3,4' music video, the multi-award winning Czech thriller 'Tricko' ['The T-Shirt'] as well as another adventure from the Horse, Cowboy and Indian, and much more!
After the films the A$$quake boys will be shakin it til close with some top notch sounds, including a gut wrenching dubstep set from Richie !Kaboogie.
And best of all, it's FREE!
We will be screening out in the smoking area, and also on the TVs inside, there will be blankets and heaters to keep you cosy in this bitingly cold month we're having.
