There was some confusion among the city's music aficionados this week when it was announced that one of Dublin's longest-running independent record stores, Freebird Records, was to close its doors next weekend.


Well, the good news is that it's merely the Cope Street premises (where Comet Records used to be) that'll be leaving here tomorrow week.
