Hi, I've just finished setting up a small studio at home, in my garage, and am looking to get some bands in to record.
The studio is small and basic, with one tracking room (about 8ft x 8ft) and a control room of the same size.
The equipment is as follows; (and is growing every week!)
16 Channel Allen & Heath GS3V mixing desk,
Digi 001 Digital recording system, with Pro Tools 6.4,
Waves Diamond Bundle Plug-Ins,
1.7G PC with 1Gb Ram and dual monitor display,
Behringer 2031A Active Studio Monitors,
Joe Meek SC2 stereo compressor,
Mics; AKG D112, Shure SM 57, Shure Beta 57A (x 2), Oktava MK-012 (x 2), Subkick. (Vocal mic on the way!)
Samson headphone amp, headphones etc.
I also have a Mapex Pro-M Maple drum kit, and full set of Zildjian Z-Custom cymbals which can be used if wanted.
I'm looking for good, tight bands who can play their instruments!
Recording will take place whenever is convenient for both "parties", and would be relaxed, no pressure/rush.
Probably try 1 track first to see how it goes etc.
Would like to hear demo's/live recordings of bands interested, to get an idea of style/song structure etc.
Anyway, that's enough from me, Thanks, Barry.
