Where might I be able to pick up a simple red LED light?

It's for part of a wacky Halloween costume, so it is. The party is on this weekend, so I've gotta be able to source it pretty sharpish.

If I can rig up a small LED so it's powered off a AA battery or something, with a 3ft wire or so, that'd be amazing.

Aye, all the middle aged indian men have that used to hang arround upstairs in the old peats have migrated to the electronic components section of maplins. I reckon thats a good indication!

But, you'll definitely get one in Maplins.

Buy a 1k resistor as well, or you're not going to be able to get any light out of the LED.
