When my in-laws had their first kid they told everyone it was a girl and what she would be called about 4 month before she was born.
At a recent family gathering i was asked 'where i was when i found out they had had the baby'. I said...' i haven't got a clue. because i already know it was going to be a girl and what she would be called' 4 months before she was born. It's like being told the punch line before the joke.
Plus..... i couldn't imagine what this would do to you mentally if something go's wrong at birth or during the pregnancy.

We didn't find out what we were having when we had our kid and I'm glad. It make the day even more exciting.
