It's being done by a guy on moshspace. Early shows are the norm over there. I don't mind gigs being over early myself..

Aye I made the mistake of questioning their early finish gigs too over on Moshiespace.

When you live in Bray and 95% of the gigs are in town, early endings are a godsend.
Hope to see people at this though! Come say hi if you're about, I'll be the guy on the door for most of it.

But why do they like gigs to end early?
Do they work in BT2 on Sunday mornings or are they altar boys?
How many of the crowd are from Bray?

Nothing wrong with early start/finish gig's, been to loads of gig's where i just saw the first, or (if was lucky) second band before i had to leave, at least with early starts guarenteed to see more than one band.

In fairness I'd make more of an effort to go to gigs more often nowadays if they actually ran on time and finished early, because going in to see bands and having to miss them because the stage times ran behind and the band I want to see are playing when I have to get the last bus (fuck Nitelinks, seriously) and be up for work next morning is a massive pisser.
