he was pretty amazing in cardiff last night. he played some new songs, lots of requests etc

he then continued the gig under trees in the car park of some methodist centre across the road from the venue.

it was a sweet venue too - http://www.thinkinteractive.co.uk/QTVR/thegate.html

mariee sioux was a nice support.

I think after getting rained on in London over the weekend while playing "Lewis Takes Off His Shirt" and having this happen at the Hillside Fest a couple of weeks ago while playing the same song ...

yea - it was a nice warm evening and when his time was up he asked the sound desk if he could play on for longer and they said no and he just said "fuck it, let's go outside".

i think the churchy sound suited the set too.
