The woman is Ellen Lupton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellen_Lupton). She's a graphic designer, writer and curator. She's interviewed because she wrote a book called DIY: Design it Yourself and has quite an interesting perspective on the whole thing.

Yeh I did the interviews, the US ones were done last November in DC and Baltimore and the European ones were done last Summer. Lots of different people have done filming at gigs and stuff in Ireland though, and theres 3 other people involved in the production of it at this stage.
