oh yeah i heard last year was messy. i pulled out of it last minute last year as a few bands cancelled. cheap as chips though so i guess you really cant go far wrong.

I've got a ticket - it's cheap and not too much of a journey for me.

I think the organisers have put a lot of effort into fixing the problems they had last year. If they manage to screw up a second time, nobody will ever come back.

Oh, and "Lindstorm" is doing a set as well, according to http://www.fielddayfestivals.com/

i take it they mean Lindstrom?

deadly.

Is this the yoke in the square near the Co-Op, near the other square in Shoreditch?

No, it's the big fuck-off park that runs from Hackney to Mile End, where the anti-racism thing was held last weekend, and where Lovebox is held. Am tempted to go but have heard such dire reports of last year...

ugh..looks like this is sold out, anyone confirm?
im staying just a few minutes away from victoria
park at the moment, only a few acts i wanted to
see but would be annoying to miss it.

try one of the external places listed here, they might still have them in the Lock Tavern or the Amersham Arms:

or try Stargreen tickets on Argyll st round the corner from Oxford Circus tube station.

I'm thinking raincoat, wellies and sunscreen.

Good forward planning, the weather was awful.
I arrived pretty late on so didn't have to bear the
worst of it. Was good though, only went to see the
field and richie hawtin, both of which were great.

yeh, probably would have been the case if you spent the entire
day there.
i was only there the last two hours of it though so no complaints.
