Festival of World Cultures (1 Viewer)

I'm definitely going. It's just down the road from my house. Just wondering if there's anything worth making sure I'm at the right stage at the right time. Amiina would be good but I've seen them a few times and 28 bucks is a bit steep.

orchestre poly rythmo de cotonou are playing saturday night. couple of collections of their stuff released on analog africa is bloody brilliant. mid 70s james brown inspired african funk. it is 26 bucks though.

All the paid shows cost at least 26 euro. I suppose it's fair enough considering the amount of free stuff. It's just hard to imagine paying 28 euro into the Purty Kitchen.

thinking of heading up from cork to see orchestre poly rythmo. not familiar with purty kitchen at all. was surprised to see its an allocated seating gig. decent place for a gig? fit many (seats) there?

I've never been up in the gig room but the place is just a medium sized bar.
