I’ve been keeping an eye out for her on her own, was really hoping for 3Arena or Kilmainham to bring the family. Electric Picnic for one artist is a no go.

what would you do the rest of the time?

back in the day there was always something interesting on, somewhere, and you could ramble into Body and Soul, or to the Foggy Notions tent knowing there's be something worth watching. I haven't been for a few years but the last couple I went to, I recall being bored. There were hours and hours of waiting around for something to happen.

But then I'm not really the target audience anymore. When I was waiting around, the rest of the EP kids were all sitting in their tents sniffing FastGas and snorting coke.

what would you do the rest of the time?

Buzz around trying to find something cool, I suppose - there's a zillion little stages that can be fun. Jerry Fish's stage, or Salty Dog (or one of its siblings). Or find some disco and dance my ass off. Or sit drinking pints and talking shite. Or do a session in a hot tub. I've never been bored at it tbh
