Elastic Witch (2 Viewers)

It's in the main venue. Keep walking to the back of the Twisted Pepper past the coffee guys on the ground floor.

Went in there the Sat after it opened. Was 4 shoe boxes of CDs and one bin of vinyl. It's not a big affair.

Those who had confidence issues browsing records in Road may need to give it a miss.

One of the things with browsing, especially in the small shops & especially if there's only one or two people in. You have a good search through and still nothing is really floating your boat. I feel really bad about walking out of the shop without buying anything.

Yeah, I felt the same about Road. They were sound folks to shoot the breeze with too which would make it even worse. Normal "aloof record store guys" I wouldn't give a shit what they thought.

I'm not sure 'confidence issues' in an entirely accurate description, but I take your meaning. Maybe they should put up a sign outside saying 'its ok just to look'.

What I'd ideally love would be proper listening posts where you can ask to listen to something in particular (as opposed to the ones where they preload 5 or 6 CDs and you can listen to them). I think Tower used to do it with vinyl, but you had to stand up by the counter where you pay, so it wasn't the most comfortable experience ever.

was in yesterday, it's a nice set up. Not a huge pile of stock in there yet but what is there is deadly. There's some good bargains there, picked up albums by GAMAK and Rest for €3 each

Love this place. Small enough (specialist) selection but usually has what I'm looking for. A lot depends on how recently a shipment has come in. But yeah I buy most of my stuff there these days. But yeah great location, stop in for a chat, a coffee and maybe up to the bookstore if I've time. And yeah the instores are an added sweetener

Haha, that takes the biscuit - "I'm not going in there, the guy behind the counter is too nice"

tut tut Ronan, lazy post there.

Hmmm, posting a link seemed less spammy than cutting and pasting a load of text, but if you insist!
