Neubauten WERE playing last night in the Temple Bar Music Centre weren't they?

There were no posters up in the window, and the bouncer gruffly informed me that it was sold out and that it was all-ticket when i asked him if there was 'a German band playing'.

Thing is, I could see that there was only about 15 people in the main bar at the time ... ... ...

Was he taking the piss or what?

i'd say there were only 15 people in the bar because everyone else was in the venue - it was pretty packed. excellent gig, incidentally. i left with a newfound urge to nick stuff off building sites and make musical instruments out of it.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up minka, I figured there wouldn't be more than about 50 people at that gig.

I paid in the door at about 8:30pm, no problems.
Great gig - i did`nt think they`d be as good as they were - got the live cd after too.The sound is damn good on it - have`nt listened to all of it yet though. And then all those Skinny Puppy t-shirts..ahh nostalgia...

If anyone would be willing to copy the live cd for me I'll be more than happy to pay for a copy..Didn't bring enough money to get one and I'd love to have it. "You're some man for one man Blixa" indeed!
Was that you was it?
I can burn you a copy and post em to you if you like.

Whats this about a new Skinny Puppy album?!?Dwane Goettel is dead like!
I got a Skinny Puppy DVD recently of all the vids - quite tacky looking vids, but funny all the same.

Skinny Puppy play London - on 29th July!!
Rumours of a more extensive European tour abound! My dreams come true!
the werld's gone MAD

Blixa is the maan - or in this case, rock's foremost pantomime dame

True story: I was in the audience of Questions and Answers last night sporting my Neubauten T-shirt that I bought at the gig "because I needed clean clothes".

I bet none of you goofballs were at the GGFH gig in Barnstormers years ago.

Come one, I deserve some rep for that nugget.

The neubauten gig was excellent, but I was put off a tiny bit by the massive amount of backing tracks they were using. No wonder the live cd sound is excellent. I wonder if Alex Hacke does a sideline in scheize movies?

Alot of info is on the link that Aoboa posted up. - Thumbs up Aoboa!!

And if anyones gonna travel to see em - theres also a 3 day punk festival on in Pilsen, Czech Republic starting on the friday 23rd of July. - WWW.FLUFFMUSIC.COM,

Thats my weeks holidays planned anyway!

man how much were those neubauten live cd-rs?
my italian bud said they were 28 euro for a double cd-r in his yard.........what the shit?
i think the whole thing is a little crass anyway (the most pearl jam thing ever) and appeals to peoples duh-est instincts, but 28 euro?? the fuckkk?

andrew

Well they were 25 Euro - nicely pakaged & printed cds, you would`nt even notice it was a cdr being honest.
What can i say, my duh-est instincts went on the rampage and i had some dosh to spare!

PS - Someone mentioned to to me the weekend how much rent they were paying per week in Dublin - nearly a 3rd more than myself here in limeirck! For a shitty room in a flat!
I`d have to say if i lived in Dublin i`d probably find it hard to buy cds too i guess.
