Three injured as Luas trams collide

Three people have received minor injuries in an accident involving two Luas trams at Stephen's Green.

Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade were sent to the scene of the crash.

The driver of one of the Luas trams has been taken to hospital. He is believed to be suffering from shock.


Connex, the company that runs Luas, said the two trams were travelling very slowly at the time of the crash.

The company said windows on the vehicles had been broken in the collision.
