Aside from the certification delays (dubious excuse in a lot of cases) how do you explain HMVs in Belfast and various parts of England having ALL those DVDs I listed as soon as they are released? - while the one in Dublin doesn't bother its arse.

because belfast and england are certified by the bffc or something so can get the dvds straight away..and it's not like irish stores can just order the dvds from uk suppliers once they are certified here..so you have to deal with a company like ten or universal actually deciding to stock it..hmv pretty much leaves the stuff they order to their buyers and most of them are'nt into mainstream cinema at all..so it's not like their not bothered..when i was workin there it pissed me off no end about the unavailability of stuff down here that was available when i was up north..
