a quick question... if i order DVDs from the UK (from amazon.co.uk for example) will they play on an Irish DVD player? The UK are the same region as us arent they?

Just make sure you order a Region 2 DVD and it will play fine.

Be sure to check that the audio extras, particularly the Dolby 5:1 and THX, offer authentic Irish accent dubbing. Also check before you buy that your player supports at least Regional Accent v 3.61.11 beta.
