apparently they're pretty good actually. friend has a live recording. they do the older stuff perfectly, can't really handle American Don, but the new stuff is meant to be good.
Damon Che is pretty smart to realise he'll never do anything that good again and might as well not bother trying.

american don is the best thing don cab ever did. what is up with you guys?

they're all completely different to me... american don is more impressive as a concept and technically it's fucking mindblowing. but i'd probably go for those two for musicality.
tho 'ones all over the place' is amazing.

I'd be interested to hear the guitarists. Replacing Ian Williams... My favourite Don Cab moments were when Che and Williams were either fighting for room and had to outdo each other or just melded into the most amazing combination. If it's just gonna be the Damon Che group then !zed . He's just the drummer after all

i dunno... i got into don cab after hearing american don. then went backwards and nothing came close to the don for me. the rest of it's just indie metal really, isn't it?
