I have just heard that Derek Nally (Whelan's booker / Ham Sandwich manager) passed away this morning. My condolences to his family and friends - a nice chap and always a pleasure to deal with when running gigs in Whelan's.

Terrible news. Derek was a top man, a great fella for anecdotes and a pleasure to deal with. Helped me out a great deal a few years ago. He'll be sadly missed. Anyone hear what happened?
