This year HIDDEN AGENDA hosts it’s very special NYE party in it’s weekly home, the BUTTON FACTORY. We've had an overwhelming 2013 and we wanted to celebrate by hand picking our favourite Irish artists to see out their incredible years in style. While bringing you the very, very best in Irish electronic music all night long we've also got the brilliant Slipdraft putting on a spectacular visual show. We're also starting nice and early at 9pm! All these amazing acts have delivered stellar performances at Hidden Agenda (bar LUMIGRAPH who returns from New York City to make his HA debut) and they'll be bringing their A game to kick off 2014 in style! WHITE COLLAR BOY:
White Collar Boy are electronic duo Gavin White and Mark Cummins. They show influences from the likes of Orbital, John Talabot and everything Berlin. They have played HA on a few occasions and each and every time they have been nothing short of brilliant. 2013 has been a massive year for the boys. From epic performances at the legendary Berghain to their most successful EP to date, "Suuu/Tide", 2014 is looking very promising for them.

NEW JACKSON:
From his studio near the sea, New Jackson makes nocturnal house jams with a ghostly disco tint. After a first release, "The Night Mail" in early 2012, New Jackson changed gear with his March 2013 debut for the Barcelona-based Hivern Discs label, "sat around here waiting". The oddball groove found favour with kindred spirits Mano Le Tough, the Permanent Vacation mob, and Tim Sweeney. Live, New Jackson expands to a two-piece, cranking up the machines: vintage drum modules, trusted synths, a dusty Russian vocoder and an MPC heart. Shoot out the lights.
MMOTHS (dj set):
MMOTHS is 20 year old Newbridge native. He is an electronic musician who has honed his own sound through melancholy and drenched out reverb. Making waves globally since his breakthrough at only 16 years old, Jack has been touring extensively with his full live band including a tour stint in the UK with The Xx. Jack will be playing a very rare DJ set for HA this NYE.
LUMIGRAPH:
Gareth Smyth is the man behind the complex layering and distorted experimental techno project LUMIGRAPH. Having been heralded by labels such as Opal Tapes & Mister Saturday Night, both of which he has incredible releases on, Lumigraph is on his way to making a serious name for himself on the underground dance scene.
FORRESTS:
Irish electronic duo FORRESTS bring their live show fresh from the incredible double headliner at Hidden Agenda in October with UK producers Snakehips. They experiment with soundscapes and wave forms with a continuous pulse driving through their unique take on experimental dance music, definitely one of the most exciting acts coming out of Ireland right now. They were even hand picked by Fuck Buttons to support them on a few dates of their September tour.

CLU:
CLU is the live Music/Visuals duo of Sean Cooley and Kevin Freeney. Having both merged from art school, Kevin and Sean mould a delicate blend of art and music from the depths of R’n’B influenced electronica to glimmering moments of bliss. Catch their full live show at HA on NYE, where they promise to deliver some stunning trailer made visuals to mark the occasion.
