dear music friends, what are we listening to today? (1 Viewer)

just arrived in the post and currently draining my cpu:

battles 'ep c'

the guy from don cabellero, drummer from helmet/tomahawk. on monitor. lots of funny sounds, sorta like a upbeat papa m.

Japan - 'Tin Drum'
'Ghosts' is the most killer jam i have ever heard - kudos to choking tara for turning me onto that
'just when i thought i could not be stopped, when my chance came to be king, the ghosts of my life blow wilder than the wind'
oh, that's a great song. i haven't heard it in aaaages. i wonder is my old cassette copy still around/functioning?

current listening thangs:
plaid - parts in the post
50 foot wave - bug (kristin hersh's new band, i think i may be finding it a bit shouty for my delicate morning sensibilities)
kate & anna mcgarrigle - eponymous album (seeing them next week, hoorah!)

i wanted to listen to Coven - 'Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls' but it seems to have dissappeared from my mp3 player...weird. the black mass at the end is very funny. "KISS THE GOAT!"

arghh! thought it wasn't gonna be out until next month! they're releasing two more EPs if i can remember correctly, EP A and EP B? forget. just know that another one will be out on an american label and another on a japan label (dot line circle).

q and not u, les savy fav, june of 44

so stacy is 'la mia vita violenta' (or whatever) blonde redheads best? i love what i've heard but can never decide which album to get. fugazi's guy piccioto records a lot of their stuff doesn't he?

this morning, my journey into work was accompanied by the sound of people giving out to the bus driver for having the wrong number on the front of the bus; for not knowing the route the bus was meant to take; and for leaving people behind because he had the wrong number on the front of the bus.
Are ya sure they all had the right bus?

Andy would argue with his shadow if he had the chance!!

Listened to Hot Snakes at about 7am - nothing since then though..well Limerick 95FM here at work...They did play Guns`n Roses - Knockin on Heavens Door this morning though!!!
