Oct 21 - Flor Rahilly & Eoin Jordan - Two of the long neck's of the ceili allstars, this Bouziki and Guitar duo will be singing old songs from the mountains, both Sliabh Lucre and Appalachian.

Oct 28 - Grateful Dead Cool? Who knows what to expect as Hank Wedel takes us on long dusty road from the Joshua Tree Hotel all the way to Brazil and back.

We had Flor Rahilly & Eoin Jordan doing Dead Cool Live this week, they did a few rory gallagher songs and songs from sliabh lucre as well. We Djed a lot of Levi Stubbs of The Four Tops who passed away at weekend, Indeed this week was the first time we didn't play Richard Harris's MacArthur Park and we played Levi's version of it. We also had a belated nod to The Skatalites, whose original trumpeter Johnnie Moore passed away 2 weeks ago. There was a lot of staff parties in towards end of the night which will explain why there so much queen/elvis/james
brown towards end of night.

- tonight had a bizarre joint birthday at the start (very Paul Street kinda crew, hence the middle class M.O.R. hip hop requests) and a very up for it post Mastadon crowd from Savoy. Good night was had by all (I hope), twin lizzy guitars double bill being the highligh of the night for myself.

one of the staples of the night has been Hey Day, of course it's a marmite of a song but it was fitting to play tonight, as it was Mic Christopher's anniversary this weekend. R.I.P.
