does anybody know where you can get a thing which de- magnetizes the heads of tape heads somewhere around dublin?

tried maplins no joy

want to de mag my space echo heads

it's a long shot but you could try a PC repair shop or something. they'd have de magnetizing doohickers.

Careful with degaussing heads.

You can damage the coil within the head if used improperly.

What's the problem with the Space Echo?

Low output, lack of top end, hum?

any post production house should have one. they're great fun to use. just remember not to wear anything metallic when you switch it on!
