Hi folks, I've just released our debut album with Hipdrop Records
The album is the best part of a year’s work and features some of Ireland’s best hip-hop, jazz, soul, and funk musicians. Love Joints is a powerful journey from grooving slow-soul burners through classic neo soul to straight up funk. It has been receiving high praise on music blogs both in Ireland (here

Danny G & the Major 7ths is the musical alias of Daniel Groenland, a singer, flautist, guitarist and composer who has been cutting his teeth with soul bands, african/trad groups and gospel choirs. His band the Major 7ths represents a move towards a more personal, soulful sound inspired by Neo-Soul artists like D’Angelo and J Dilla, as well as the classics like Marvin Gaye and CSN. With an emphasis on harmonies and grooves, they feature not one but four vocalists and a line up ranging from 7 to 10 musicians.
