damien rice(whats the story) (2 Viewers)

"The Power of Orange Knickers" is the first significant song on an Amos record to feature a prominent male vocalist. Damien Rice does the honors, underlining Amos' vocals on this bitter but melodic ballad of hurt and betrayal.

speaking of knickers, his old band mates were played on the dreadful OC program - its a a cross between Dawsons Crack and Beverly Hills 90210 !cheezy !cheezy !cheezy !cheezy !cheezy !cheezy !cheezy !cheezy

I heard a track of his being played in a McDonalds outlet in Barcelona yesterday.

Does anyone realise the significance of this event? There is a story here. (Hint: it's not that it was a McDonalds that's significant, but that it was in Barcelona... anyone?)

Guh?

"Stones, taught me to fly"

A metaphor for modern life if ever there was one. Erm...

That's ridiculous Rice getting that Mojo nod though isn't it? Most of "O" is material cobbled together years ago when he were still a (Ju)nipper. He's really struggling with Album Number 2 too, as I said earlier, but once again reiterated by a singer/songwriting pal of his I met at a fucking awful heap of shit of a gig from Joe Chester last night.

He's another over-rated one isn't he that Chester fella? Tom Dunne falls in love with him so he has to be great. Bollocks. His songs have about as much passion as sex has after a someone farts and follows through. A great producer certainly, but as a songwriter and player he may may as well have a big "Intel Inside" sticker stuck on his head and guitar. Utter crap.

Damien Rice likes young boys

He sounds like hes being buggered by a christain brother with nicotine stained fingers whens he's singing. I wish his eskimo friends would cut a hole in the ice and throw the cunt in.
Im sick of this limp wristed sensitive shite, if youre going to be depressing do it with a bit of conviction.....
Now Ian Curtis, thats good misery!!!
