sxsw was loads of mad fun and all, everyone got home safely. we got to see some totally amazing bands; brown whornet, grand ulina, hella and drunk horse all blew our heads off. df are off on tour tomorrow, if you know anyone in these places, tell 'em to come out...

sugar & spikes

the sugar & spikes club in the sugar club gets it's official launch on friday 11th of april. it'll run once a month initially (2nd friday of every month), screening a movie from 7 and having live bands and djs from 9.30 or thereabouts. if it catches on, it'll be run every 2nd week. entrance is a meagre 7.50 euros. the idea is that people can go there straight from work, i'm thinking about getting food in, anyone think this would work?

I was talking to Dave and Julie a while ago ad they said that they found 50 spares and they found it hard to shift them so, ask them and you'll probably be in luck. you never know

I tried to get them to come to Ireland before and it nearly worked, they ended up not coming due to the certainty of massive money loss.
I want to get them to play Belfast and I want Yakuza to support 'em, but how? !bing
