With a debut album reaching a lofty No13 in the UK albums charts and a plethora of Top 20 singles from their critically acclaimed album "The Back Room", Editors make their Irish debut headline gig in Cyprus Avenue tonight. Drawing on their love of literate bands such as early REM, Echo and the Bunnymen, Elbow and Doves, Editors honed an identifiably English sound focused on the grand themes of love, loss and redemption.

Malcolm Middleton is one half of Scotland's Arab Strap. On his second solo album, Into The Woods, Malcolm expands on his earlier work for Arab Strap and his first solo album. Folksy one minute, almost danceable the next, Malcolm never fails to disappoint.

Revered by fans and critics, both in her native Ireland and throughout Europe, Mary returns to Cork.

Angels Of Mons make their first trip to Cork since scooping a Meteor Award earlier this year. Drawing influence from band like The Pixies , Weezer , Pavement & The Breeders , while remaining high on the more decedent camp of The Stooges and The New York Dolls.
The band have gone from strength to strength in the last few months signing to Snow Patrol's management team and playing alongside them and 15000 people in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney earlier this summer.
