They're might be worth about a 50 cent/a quid each...probably- some a bit more

have a look at those sites anyway and you'll see
Most of that stuff is Marvel-Uk reprints of the American stuff so I don't know if there'll be huge demand for it

Conan and Dr Who might be of interest to collectors

Try the 2000adonline forum- they'd know a lot more than I would about this sort of thing

Castle of Horror...i like the sound of that!Might be interested in them myslef

I've never read Starlord before. Stronty started on that didn't he Official Nerd(tm) Johnnystress? Did Ro-Busters too?

Yes he did- and Robusters which led to Hammerstein and the ABC Warriors

Took me a while but I eventually got the complete collection

No free gifts though

there is a misconception that all old comics are worth something- the Oxfam on Georges street were trying to sell an old best of 2000ad monthly , in rag order, for a fiver

in good condtion it was probably worth 10 cents or something

found this lame looking comic in my grandfathers attic, like the one below but with an upside down cover. worth owt?

Ah, Starlord. Deadly. I miss them. Me ma threw them all out when I was younger. You can pick them up pretty cheaply for the lot though. A mate of mine bought all twelve (13?) issues on geebay last year for a few quid.

jesus, look what i just found, the poor old dandy fallen on hard times:

[ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dandy_Xtreme[/ame]

It is currently the lowest selling children's comic in the UK, with sales averaging at approximately 23,000 per fortnight.

Dandy Xtreme refers to [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_strips"]comic strips[/ame] as [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comix"]Comix[/ame]. The "Comix" were originally a 16 page pull-out within a 20 page magazine, but now the idea has been scrapped and, as of the 17th Dandy Xtreme, are paced in between the magazine features. This is also seen as a cunning way to feature as little comic strips as possible without readers noticing. The number of comic strips per issue has dropped to its lowest ever, recently featuring just 10 out of 36 pages, 2 of which were advertorial material.

more dandy xtreme hijinks!

In the issue no. 3447, it told readers that the next issue would be priced at "Only £2.25", meaning that they would have to pay an extra 26p. When the advert appeared in the Beano the following week, it said that it would cost £2.50, meaning that the issue would be 51p more expensive. The actual comic was £2.50, and apparently had 7 "free gifts". These free gifts turned out not to be free at all, and the issue no. 3449 would cost, as usual, £1.99.
