Saw a doco a few years back about this guy.
He lived in a community pretty much like the Armish but set up for rednecks, since they never had a secondary school or university in the area they had to send all their kids to boarding school.
At the time of filming only about two of the thirty kids sent ever went back to the community.
Maybe he should have just paid those guys the wages he owed them.
