I've video-conferenced into meetings and people I work with have straight up started laughing. I was looking a bit rough before any of this started. Things are now to the point that the chief is taking the piss out of me, and then other people are taking the piss out of the chief for taking the piss out of me.

I'm almost embarrassed about the fuckin state of myself. Almost.

It is at times like this that I'm feeling pretty smug about never giving a shit enough to dye my hair, straighten it or even get it professionally cut more than once every 4 or 5 years. I've been experimenting with it a bit though... apparently my latest attempt gets an 80's rock star rating from my husband.
