This is my favourite. Some of the best telly I have ever seen has been the humble interview. There have been many, but perhaps the most powerful for me would have to be Denis Potters(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Potter )final interview. Potter was suffering with terminal cancer during his final interview with Melvin Bragg back in the early 90's. He was in such discomfort and pain that he was actually administering himself shots of liquid morphine just to get through it!, but what an interview. Potter delivered a brutally honest, poignant beautiful and excoriating viewpoint on the state of Britain and life in general at the time. It is still a relevant and remarkable piece of television. Clough and Revie I do believe belongs in Arts & Culture. An amazing and amazingly entertaining interview, even if you don't like football.

Probably not my favourite but I was amazed by Ustinov's Irish accent.

There are so many to choose from but Woody Allen on The Dick Cavet Show is a perfect match.

The two of them are obviously buds & riff real easy with each other & obviously enjoy each others company.

There are full episodes out there. All brilliant.
