This is'nt a list thread.I'm genuinely into hearing any good shit from 70's legends on the slide.

Deep Purple's first reunion record "Perfect Strangers" was decent.

Sabbath were still good well into the 80's. I like the Dio fronted ones,Born Again with Gillain and also the Seventh Star record.

I'm a sucker for Cheap Trick,even the worst of them.


Generally,I'm going blank on this one though.

Am I being too obvious by saying Thin Lizzy? All quality stuff up to Renagade.
70's and 80's Van Halen is good stuff. I'm a bit hot and cold with Deep Purple but I've said it on Thumped before that the remastered Machine Head BLOWS MY MIND.
