neh...
anybody know where i can get some cymbals cheap? (for less than like 200).the ones i have at the moment sound like fucken biscuit tin lids, tis crap..

I'll have a cheap stagg 20" ride for sale this week. not a bad cymbal. very dry, with not a whole lot of wash. perfect nick. pm me if youre interested.

well cheap cymbals will always sound cheap..
i presume you have like a stock cheap kit set? like performance percussion cymbals? or pearl kit cymbals?

for less than 200 you should look at sabian b8s..or if youre lucky, sabian b8 pros can be quite cheap too...

and you can usually buy them both in starter packs..

have a look here:
http://www.thomann.de/ie/sabian_b8_performanceset_beckensatz.htm
(the guy on the box makes em a worthwhile purchase)
or these:

by the way, the guys in music maker will usually match thomann on the prices.

or if youre out further north, i cant recommend custom irish drums enough...
http://customirishdrums.com/special_offers.html

they do the performance set with an extra crash and sticks and bag and stuff.

"the guys in music maker will usually match thomann on the prices" but the guys in music maker are dickheads tho... but thanks anyway !

i think they're pretty sound. used to be a few pricks in there years ago but. they tend to sell sabians for cheaper than thomann.
