ClubHeadBangBang Present:
_And So I Watch You From Afar
_& Adebisi Shank
Belfast based And So I Watch You From Afar create sonic waves comparable to bands like Red Sparowes & Mogwai. In a vein of music often deluged with bands seemingly imitating their heroes and relying heavily on their fancy delays, this band have sought to break the reular mould. Flawless yet passionate live performances have made ASIWYFA a formidable force on the local gig circuit, while their brief forays to the mainland UK have seen them launch their music to a wider audience. Expect to pick up your jaw from the floor at the end of a set. ASIWYFA manage to create beautiful soundscapes over seemingly vast landscapes, reminiscent of Explosions In The Sky's ethereal grace. Already one of Belfast's most talked about groups, their e.p. "This Is Our Machine And Nothing Can Stop It" has plunged them in amongst Britain's most hotly tipped bands.
"...momentum, drive, dynamism, and a sheer unfettered avalanche of sound." (AU Belfast)
Adebisi Shank
With a tour of Japan under their belts with 'Lite' and having toured the UK shores with Marvin's Revolt and bombasted through Ireland and Europe many a time, Adebisi Shank need no introduction to how things are achieved. DIY ethics coupled with a limitless barrier of ideas is how this band will eventually have their listeners eating out of their hands.
