I was just wondering if there was a good area in london for charity shops and vintage shops? I'm going during the week so I know none of the large markets will be on, but are there any others?

tate modern is pretty good

smoking in bars is also fantastic

carnaby street if you have a lot of money and want to waste it. camden is great and also try shepards bush market. pretty good for 'vintage' stuff if i remember rightly

the tube should be your only method of transport while you're there. piss easy to find anything then.
